Hello world!

For those of you who may, or may not know, I started a new “diet” about 6 weeks ago.  This came about at the behest of my holistic physician, whom kindly advised me to make some drastic changes or suffer costly physical issues; like kidney and liver failure issues to start with.  Needless to say, I took her advice.

So how does a “healthy” yoga teacher and RN get to such a state of poor health?  While I have taken better care of myself in recent years, I can’t say the same for my earlier years.  Starting with how much I HATED the taste of water in childhood, or how I would live on a bag of Oreos and a Snickers all day in my teens or how I never had time to eat during long days in surgery.

But that is all in the past.  And I wanted to share all my “new” recipes (being gluten, dairy, soy, meat & peanut free!), as well as some yoga and natural healing techniques.  I welcome all of your comments, questions and suggestions!  namaste!
